Aimee Thieu is a self-taught artist living & creating in Southern California. Working with clay, paper, and other varied materials, her intricately crafted pieces explore the relationship between structure and fluidity.
In her works, Thieu weaves geometric, rigid lines and shapes together with organic ethereal forms, creating a visual dialogue between these two worlds. Much of her inspiration comes from the ocean, architectural design, space and light, and the quiet anomalies found in nature.
